Driver examiners use the following checklist to identify rider errors. When you go for your motorcycle road test, you will be asked to perform each of the following major tasks (in any particular order) and the examiner will mark where you have made an error. Depending on the total number of errors, you will either pass or fail.
Use this checklist to ensure you understand and practice each manoeuvre and associated rule.
Remember - The driver examiner will be focused on each error you make, and NOT on what you did correctly. This checklist is designed to quickly identify riding errors, including any errors in judgment. If you get 26 marks or a critical error, you will fail the road test!
With this list, you now know exactly what the examiner is looking for. Practice riding and pass with confidence.
